SPIC’s strategy on biotreatment

Southern Petrochemical Industries Corporation (SPIC) located in Madras India, has developed a new strategy for biotreatment, which is different from the commonly used activated sludge process (ASP). The new strategy involves isolation of targets, natural and non-pathogenic organisms, which are induced, enriched and tested for actual effluents to be treated.
