If the technology is used for deactivation of a native negative gene, one would welcome it, but introduction of negative gene (other than terminator gene) that would need deactivation for commercial interests only, should not be allowed, through international law, and the patents for such negative transgenes or for the transgenic crops carrying these so called junkie transgenes should be rejected on moral grounds.
