Laboratory Space Requirement for Plant Tissue Culture -Far a standard tissue culture laboratory, following minimum facilities are necessary:

(i) a media room, where glassware and plasticware are washed, stared and used far preparation of culture media; this room should be equipped with working benches (including a laminar air flaw cabinet), a deepfreeze, a refrigerator, weighing balance, a hat platecum magnetic stirrer, a pH meter, a vacuum pump, and an autoclave;

(ii) a culture room, where controlled temperature, diurnal illuminatian, and humidity are maintained and cultures are grown; the rooms should have racks far placing culture tubes, flasks, etc. and also. a shaking machine far growing suspension cultures.
