The
structure
for
DNA
in
a
fibre
is
produced
at
a
very
high
relative
humidity
(92%).
This
is
called
the
B-form
of
DNA.
The
vast
majority
of
the
DNA
molecules
present
in
the
aqueous
protoplasm
of
living
cells
almost
certainly
exist
in
the
B-form.
The
structure
of
DNA
molecules
change
as
a
function
of
their
environment.
The
exact
conformation
of
a
given
DNA
molecule
or
segment
of
DNA
molecules
will
depend
on
the
nature
of
the
molecule
with
which
it
is
interacting
and
amount
of
water
content.
