Isolation of Genes Using DNA OR RNA Probes -Specific molecular probes (whether DNA or RNA probes), if available can be used for isolation of specific genes. These probes may be available either from another species for the same gene or may be artificially synthesized using a part of the amino acid sequence of the protein of the gene in question.
