Oozing in Transcription - In this case, binding of a regulatory protein to its operator helps binding of another protein to adjacent sequences which in turn helps another to bind next to it, until a procession of proteins has oozed out from the control sequences to the gene where transcription is initiated. Oozing effect can function only for a few hundred base pairs
